On the Philadelphia & Amish Country Guided Bus Tour from New York, you'll explore some of the American countryside outside the Big Apple on a day trip to Philadelphia...and Lancaster County, Pennsylvania - home of the Amish people.
You'll drive through the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside, tour Philadelphia with its famous Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, and take an ride in an authentic Amish buggy.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the recent government shutdown, the Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall, Constitution Square are closed. Other attractions will be substituted based on availability.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
Departing New York City, you'll drive through New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the City of Brotherly Love - Philadelphia. It's the second largest city on the East Coast, and only 100 miles (160 kilometers) from New York City.
Upon arrival in Philadelphia, you will embark on a panoramic tour that includes Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Elsert Alley (the oldest inhabited street in America) and more. Arriving in the historic heart of the city, you'll visit the famous Liberty Bell and Constitution Square and Hall - symbols of American freedom. If you enjoyed any of the "Rocky" movies, you'll love seeing the famous "Rocky Steps" before the tour continues to Lancaster County.
After a break for lunch at the Amish marketplace (cost of lunch not included in ticket price), you'll take an authentic Amish buggy ride through Amish farm country. During the ride, you'll learn how the Amish live without modern technology - no electricity, running water, telephone service or appliances. The tour departs in late afternoon to return in New York approximately 8:00 pm.
72 HOURS MINIMUM ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED. Hotel pickup is NOT included for this tour. Tour departs from a convenient Park Avenue location in Manhattan to be specified on your E-Ticket. On the order form, you will be asked to provide the complete name, gender and birth date of each passenger, as they appear on their passports, in the following format - Surname, Given Name, Gender (Male or Female), birth date (MM/DD/YYYY).
